Peaceful Garden

Last week it was supposed to rain when Mr. COS and I visited the Sherman Gardens
in Corona del Mar, California. A short ride to the beach, down the freeway from us.
I captured some beauties to share. First the roses. This lovely rose is called "Iceberg".

 This is the "Bewitched" rose.

This rose is a budding "Orange Juice" rose.

This is the "Orange Juice" rose is full bloom.

This is the "Peace" rose in full bloom.

I can't resist trying to take a picture of the bees.

This garden has some beautiful exotic plants. This one caught my
attention. I did not get the name. Sorry.

The Koi Fish Pond.

This is an orchid plant. Magnificently beautiful.

In the outdoor pond they have some turtles lounging. It was about 65 degrees and some sun
was shining through the clouds. It never did rain while we were there.

Good morning, Suz!

LOVELY photos today! 65 degrees? Perfect. We are inching our way toward that next week, but yesterday was a "balmy" 33, enough to start melting our winter memories away. We didn't have as much snow this winter but we certainly had enough consecutive below zero temps to make it a miserable season. I can't wait to get to our local public rose garden and take some photos too.

Be well dearest Suz! Anita

Simply gorgeous, Susan. I've sent you an email about your photos :)
So nice to see what's in store for us - sooner rather than later, I hope!
The vibrant colours really made my day. Thank you!
