California Winter Garden

Do you see the bees at work? This is southern California.
All photos are in temperate southern California.

These are blooming right now in southern California. Anemones.

Blooming Camilla tree.

I have never seen this before, Stonehenge water fountains.

This is what you would expect to see in a dry, warm  climate.

If this was in my garden, no way would it be this big.

Something for Valentine's day for the gardener.

Snow in southern California on December 31, 2014. This is
in Rainbow, California a few miles from Temecula, California.
Temecula is located in the southern most county in California-
San Diego County.
Photo taken by Kimi S. on a ranch in Rainbow.

You truly have an eye for floral photography, Suz. These images are gorgeous.
It's -8 here with 18 inches of snow so these are lovely to look at first thing this morning.
I am heading to Hawaii tomorrow though so I'll have fun taking some pics of Birds of Paradise!
Have a great week and thanks so much for your lovely comment on my blog yesterday!

Oh Suz, when I heard that it snowed here, I could not believe it. All my days growing up in L.A. we never had or HEARD of snow so close.....wild!

We have less snow this year than last year, but our cold temperatures really have been ridiculously cold. SPRING IT ON!

Who will forget the year of snow! But your climate is so enviable. I certainly have green on my mind. I hope you get a whiff of the Espresso candle for yourself! haha! Feel free to Pin away if you can figure it out. I am lagging so behind on all that! Hope it's a great year for you!

Precious Suz, I just saw your comment. Thank you dear dear heart for coming. But ya know what? I will be here for every post you make. I am not leaving Blogland all together; I will still visit my favorites, just not posting. My blog will still be up. I am not deleting it.

You are a gem. See you for your next post, Anita

Your photos are a wonderful fantasy to absorb, as I am about to walk out into the bitter cold. You always present beauty and a certain calmness to brighten my day.
