Vintage Finds

This is the first of two signs I bought from Rita's booth
at the Vintage Marketplace in Rainbow, California
over the last weekend.

This is a photo of my laundry room with another sign from Rita. It says 'Chocolate and
Wine' in Italian.

If this little pillow in front looks familiar, it is. It is from the shabby chic line at Target.
I bought this pillow at the Vintage Marketplace and it is perfectly aged and was a

Here is the same pillow on my master bed.

These charming faith based earrings I bought from the Grace Abounding booth
at the Marketplace. This and other beautiful handmade jewelry can be bought at
the etsy shop I bought these for a gift for
Mother's Day for my mother-in-law who loves ear wires and dangles
and wears all the jewelry I buy her.

My daughter bought this cuff from the same booth that I purchased
my earrings. I borrowed Janis' photo of it.

My laundry room where I hung
my signs. I am such a fan of
the blog White and Shabby. You
can click on it and visit to see where
I get almost all my inspiration. I have
to mention another blog of inspiration

Celebrate with the wearing of the green!

Hi beautiful, thank you for dropping in on me. As for the past post I see what you mean about pieces you felt mesh with my tone on tone French feel. I had some friends that live on the desert here where I live that had booths at THE VINTAGE MARKET place in So. CA. Rainbow Oaks.
One being Bobby Webers, we work closely together enough so we have collaborated in shop ventures business wise.

I will attend the one in June and hope to see you there :)
Love your style and passion for the pieces you gather up creating a home with the beauty of ocean sea air.
Thank you again for taking the time for your visit and leaving a comment that joys my decision on placing such a mirror over a kit hen table, now I must wake looking great to enjoy the mirrored reflection :)

Beautiful weekend to you my dear.
Happy St Pattys day.

Oh Susan, you know how much I love your blog. You bring me the California feelin' every time. Your home is beautiful and if my laundry room were anywhere near repairable, I'd fix it up just like you have it. But my laundry room is in the basement! Those pillows, and your wall with the rose painting....gorgeous! And why does Rita's booth sound so familiar to too love Jade's blog! Isn't she just a sweetheart? And her goodness, she is a master photographer of softness, lush white beauty and peace.

Wishing you a happy day, Susan! Anita

Good morning, Susan.
I am loving your vintage signs - how fun are those! You have the best markets down there. Your bedroom looks so cosy and the perfect place to curl up with a good book. It's making me want to go back to bed right now, lol. Love the earrings and bracelet too. So unique and personable! Have a great weekend.

Good afternoon, Susan! Thank you so much for coming by to enjoy a look out my window. It is starting to look more like spring will make an appearance here, but most of all, it is wonderful to know that no matter what the weather, LIFE is good and we can learn to see with new eyes every day. PEACE! Anita
