Annual Love Fest 2014

We had our Annual Love Fest this week. It was Paris themed and hosted by my
daughter and her husband. Our schedules didn't permit it to be on Valentine's day
this year. Notice the place card holders and the napkin rings.

Every wine charm Paris themed but different

Party favor gift bags. Check out how the tissue paper in the gift bags matches
the table cloth.

The menu from hors d'oeuvres to entrees was fondues.

For the fondue dipping sauces

These were for pomegranate martinis. Do you see the Eiffel Tower on the tray.

Hors d'oeuvres.

Heart shaped dessert

My daughter dressing for the theme.

Theme lighting for the mantle.

Sources for the Paris themed party included Hobby Lobby, TJ Maxx, Pier 1,
Home Goods, Marshals, The Rainbow Vintage Flea Market,
Micheals, and the internet.

This was what was in the men's and women's gift bags. The silver tower on the
end is a bottle opener, and a box of  matches next to it.

There simply is nowhere like Paris, and the theme never gets old. NEVER! How decadent and beautiful is that chocolate dessert, Susan! Imagine going to Versailles? I've been there and if you love chandeliers, you will swoon when you see the ones in the main hall of mirrors! Happy Saturday! Anita

This is so much fun, Susan! And how nice that you celebrate the day with your daughter and husband as well. Looks like you had a really great time. :)

The party bags, the t shirts, earrings, food, the napkins, this is all amazing, I wish I knew people who did this sort of thing, we are an awfully dull lot.

Good morning Susan! Thank you kindly for coming over to visit. It means so much to all of us who put time into our blogs that someone would care enough to comment. Happy DAY! Anita

Over the top! LOVE the plates. Love the tissue paper. Love the table cloth. Love the dessert! What a fantastic fun party! (I'm remembering that you wondered about the garden note pads that I posted...I got them at Rue de Lille in Summerland. Maybe they would send them to you!)

Oh la la... que c'├ętait magnifique! Absolutely a fabulous party. Having lived in Paris for a decade, you truly captured the city's essence.

Such great attention to detail even down to the jewelry. Looks like it was a fabulous night. I love fondue as it reminds me of my childhood.
