We had Thanksgiving dinner here in Corona Del Mar,

California. Quaint restaurant with good food.

This is a decorating update.

A while back we finally found a floor lamp to replace

our broken one. I think it goes with the asian-pacific

design in our living-dining area.

New animal print goblets-only four were found at Home Goods.

Pretty In Purple

Purple seems to me to be an under-rated color. I have

put together some fall/winter things in purple I think

you may like.  This first gown is from Nordstrom and

sells for $268.00.

What's the deal with all the purple-it was my grand-daughter's

first favorite color when she wanted to be a princess doctor

when she grew up.

If I was where it was snowing and I was freezing I would

Fall Beauty

Can you believe the markings on this little daisy? This is growing in a pot

in my next door neighbor's yard. It photographs so surreal.

 

 

This is my coral rose. It is is so photogenic.

 

 

 

This is my 'Sentimental' rose. I thought my roses had finished

blooming and my roses surprised me this week. This represents

the winter season in my rose garden. Can you think of a better

 rose for Christmas. It's red and white like a candy cane and

 it's named 'Sentimental'.

I'm ending this post with this oil that hangs in my office by

Bobbe Perlberg. It reminds me of a cool walk on the beach

in the fall. I hope all that have been devastated by the recent

storm on the east coast are on the mend and finding much

needed resources.
