Fall Garden Colors

This beauty looks so much better in person.
My 'Leonidas' rose that is orange and yellow.
I don't know if you would call my coral rose shown here
a fall color but it is now blooming beautifully in my garden.

Looking fall here with the yellow center.
'Leonidas' is my fall rose. I have a rose to represent every season
plus two for summer.
This is the nearest I've been to a
Hummingbird (to photograph it).

Pumpkin Carving

'Happy Face' at night.

My hubby carves a pumpkin every Halloween.
First he draws a face on the pumpkin with a pencil.

This year it was a design I drew from a photo I'd seen
in an ad. Last year's pumpkin was his original design.
You can see it on my side panel of my blog.

He carves it with a paring knife. No special tools, altho this year we
considered buying them but didn't.

Here is the finished pumpkin. I named it 'Happy Face'.

Here is 'Happy Face' all jazzed up.
You can buy this photo as a card,
print or poster at Red Bubble.

Fall Inspiration

These are my some of my favorite artworks that inspire
me to decorate for fall. The colors are magnificently fall.
This beautiful painting looks like summer but has all the
fall colors.

The following are from Van Gogh, Dufy and Cezanne.

This is art on fabric done by Dufy. Do you see the Effiel Tower
on the right?

Fall Decorating

Velvet pumpkin. I found it last week at Neiman Marcus.
These I found last fall at the Glitterfest in Santa Ana, California.
The Glitterfest this fall is on October 13, 2012.
I couldn't resist and I bought these animal print
velvet pumpkins at Neiman Marcus last week.
This ornament was also at Neiman Marcus.
I passed on this.

I got this ornament instead at Pier 1. It was $4.95.
Altho, the last two are Christmas ornaments I
thought they looked good. Full of fall color.
