Summer Vintage Makeover

My master bed palette-before.

 

This is my master bed, now. The coverlet, the back king

size shams and the white shams in the middle are from

 the Simply Shabby Chic line at Target. The front

floral sham is from Rachel Ashwell's boutique line.

or go to bed with while watching TV. Bowl from

Home Goods.

Vintage Silver

This little silver tray from Tina

at The Enchanted Home is very versatile.

I bought the tray at her store on her blog.

The mirror is from Home Goods and the basket from Target. I like

how it all looks with my vintage silver and a pink rose from

my garden.

This sits on my vanity in my master bath. Earrings are made

with vintage faux gemstones.

I've been thinking of having a giveaway on my blog for a

 long time. I'm continually not encouraged with only 26

followers. I want to clelebrate other blogs and their

etsy shops and have a sprinkling of gifts from

 different shops.

When I watched the closing ceremony

of the Summer Olympics in London, I

cried when they played John Lennon's

"Imagine".  It's the ring tone on my cellphone.

Summer Vintage White

New vintage lamp from Pottery Barn.

Here it is in a better light, looking very shabby chic with

it's crinkled shade (my accidental doing).

My new quilted sham from the Simply Shabby Chic line at  Target.

This is my start to making my bed all shabby chic white.

The front two shams are from Pottery Barn Kids and the

round pillow is from the Simple Shabby Chic line at Target

as are the back two shams.

This is my shabby chic chandelier in my laundry

room with the swag. Altho, I have thought

of covering the swag, I won't . Covering the

 swag in the laundry room would be like

putting slipcovers on the washer and dryer.
