Paris On My Mind

I've put togerther some photos that I've taken to show you that, altho, I haven't been
to Paris it has been on my mind for some time.

I took these photos at the Vintage Marketplace in Rainbow, California.

Do you see the little Eiffel Tower painted on the pane of the window?

This is a photo of a print I own of Chambord Castle in France.
I'm daydreaming of Paris and everything french.

This hangs in my shabby chic master bedroom to send me off to dream land in Paris.

Paris frame from Pier 1. That's my grandfather in the photo.
This is in my daughter's music room.

So nice to see you at the Paris Party!! Thank you for the visit! Great finds at the shops in California! I do remember that print of Chambord castle. I love it, too! Have you gotten to go there? It is gorgeous and enormous! I have only seen the outside. My favorite is a much smaller one, the Châteaux Chenonceau not far from there.
Glad to see you're thinking Paris even in Huntington Beach!! Say hi to the pier and the beach for me!!!! Ah, just thinking of it makes me smell Coppertone!!
Amitiés, chérie,

I'm totally obsessed with Paris too! You should subscribe to the blog Breakfast in Paris if you haven't already, good stuff! Also, a fun book you would love to read about french women and fashion is "Madame Chic". It's SO good! About a young USC college student who went to Paris for 6 months to live with a french family and study in Paris, she learned many important french fashion and eating tips.

I think it is a fairly recent purchase but I didn't see it the last time I was there.

Fantastic. If you are in anyway able to go there. I highly recommend it. Not a day goes by that I don't dream of that gorgeous place. The country side is even more charming. Lovely shots.
