Annual Love Fest

I captured these images from our annual Love Fest hosted this year by our
wonderful friends Carl and Lori. Six of us get together every year to
celebrate Valentine's Day and this year Lori chose crowns as her theme.
This is the entrance to the dining room from the living room

Can you see the beautiful crown in this photo?

The flowers on the table-a little out of focus.

You can almost see the beautiful detail in the carpet.

Chandelier candlesticks (from Home Goods)

A gift from the Love Fest

White Inspiration

 I'm inspired by the white
vintage blogs that I visit that are so beautiful.
I salute these bloggers with some photos of my own.

I love these plumes. Did you know it is against California law to cut these? I took this photo
along Pacific Coast Highway traveling from Newport Beach to Huntington Beach.

I'm taking a break from blogging. I will still be around
 visiting my favorite blogs and
discovering new ones, but not as often.
I will post from time to time.

Happy Valentine's Day

This is a Valentine's Day card from mon amour.
He gave me this awhile ago and I saved it because
I thought it was so cool for a castle lover like me.

In My Living Room

I'm pulled in two different directions. I have two bedrooms and a bath that are shabbied
pink and white and a living and dining room that have an eclectic mix I call asian-pacific
These are new from Home Goods $3.99 each.

My living room is a mish mash of light woods and asian
pacific design with these Lane tables that I can't bare
to part with. In an instant, I could pull this room together
if I just replaced the two tables.

Jar and console table from a local interior
design boutique. The rice screeen is from
a now defunct import-export shop.

This mirror is from a catalog.

Animal print lamp I found on-line. Vase is from
a yard sale. Looks like I only paid a dollar
for it.

This vintage poster I found at a local antique store.
What do you think? Are there moments in your
life where you just can't make up your mind?
