I love Castles

I'm a romantic that likes castles and Valentine's Day. This is
one of my favorite times of year with all the hearts and flowers
for sale everywhere.
Chambord Castle, France

This is my favorite castle photo. I bought this sometime ago at  Ethan Allen
I think I've given you a peek at it in the past but nothing close up like this.

Chambord Castle, France

A close-up of the castle.

Here it is pictured with it's unusual but pretty frame.

And this is what is looks like hanging
in my dining room.

Absolutely gorgeous picture of that castle! I need something like that to really set off some empty wall space in my apartment!

Hi Sizzle & Zoom
I'm so glad that you were blessed by my post. My goal for Heavenly Minded & Earthly Good is to keep the post along these lines. If you're into a bit of silliness, come visit old Rattus and Tea Rat (my other blog, Rattus Scribus) just for sheer fun.

I love your blog. I love your names. I love your blog title. Anita and I love castles (well of course, Anita's blog title begins with the world Castles). We have some great castle prints in our home. I bought one a couple years ago for Anita by Alan Lee titled "Gereint" which has a storybook quality to it.
Hey, so keep on Cruisin

These pictures look amazing! I am sorry to hear that you have had a hard time getting on my blog. I can't figure out why but I will have my husband check it out more tomorrow. Thanks for letting me know because I always love your visits!

I love castles also. In 1969, my husband was stationed in Mannheim Germany. We would go to Heidelburg and spend the day at the castle when we didn't have any money. Those were the days.

Ahhhh! YOU ARE A CASTLE LOVER!!! Hence, the interest in my illustration! Oh, me too. Hence, the name of my blog! I had a field day when I was in the Loire Valley in France; Ruben took tons of pictures of me hanging out of the turret windows and walking about in the kitchens. MAGIC!

THANK YOU for visiting and also for linking to Ruben's blog. I really hope you got to see the Butterfly Effect video. It coincided with the beautiful memorial service I attended for an esteemed colleague and friend this weekend and the two events just struck me profoundly. Thank you for sharing my experience in coming to visit. I will be looking forward to sending you your order!!! Anita

Oh, I can certainly see why you call this your favorite photo! It's marvelous! Do you know which one it is? At first I thought it was Chenonceau, but I never saw a staircase like that there. Thanks so much for your visit to French at Heart, where I hope you also saw a few castles!

Just gorgeous! It is so romantic! I wonder how old the castle is, who has stood at that window looking out - how far can they see - where does the stairway lead. I'd be staring and dreaming at that picture a lot! Love your roses! I am now following via email!
God Bless,
Kathy

It seems like Da Vinci designed the stairs, or that's what I read.
